Our shipping policy details dispatch and deivery times, delivery costs, out-of-stock items, import duties, VAT, custom charges, Brexit and packaging.
Dispatch & Delivery Times
Orders are usually dispatched within 2–3 working days of purchase.
All UK orders are sent via Royal Mail Standard Parcel, as most iitems are too bulky to fit through a letterbox. Delivery typically takes 3–5 working days after dispatch.
International delivery times (estimated):
- Europe: approximately 3 working days
- Rest of world: approximately 5 working days
- Middle East & Asia: up to 10 working days
Please note that customs delays are outside our control. A parcel cannot be considered missing until a reasonable delivery period has passed.
Delivery Costs
Postage costs are calculated based on weight and destination.
Due to parcel size requirements, even small items (including Bitter Crystals) are sent via Standard Parcel. Customers who regularly use products may find ordering multiple items more cost-effective for postage.
Out of Stock Items
While we aim to keep all products in stock, there may occasionally be shortages. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you by email and offer the option to:
- Cancel the item, or
- Wait until it becomes available
Import Duties & International Orders
Customers outside the UK may be required to pay import duties, VAT, or customs charges. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and vary by country.
We recommend checking with your local customs authority before ordering.
Brexit & EU Deliveries
Since 1 January 2021, UK exports to the EU are subject to new customs rules.
- Goods under €22 may remain VAT-free (subject to EU changes)
- Goods between €22–€150 may incur VAT and handling fees
- Goods over €150 may incur VAT, customs duties, and clearance fees
Customs charges are applied by the destination country and cannot be prepaid. Any additional costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Packaging
To reduce waste, we may use reused or recycled packaging. While this may not always look new, your order will be securely packed.
We believe packaging’s role is to protect the product — not to create unnecessary waste.
